Communications + Website For New Nonprofit

I started volunteering with Evolve Austin because our city is changing quickly and I wanted to take part in crafting the city’s future development. Evolve Austin was formed to partner with other Austin nonprofits and civic organizations to promote the implementation of the Imagine Austin comprehensive plan. Evolve Austin’s partner organizations include Austin Habitat for Humanity, Bike Austin, Downtown Austin Alliance, Environment Texas, Ecology Action, Urban Patchwork and Austin Housing Coalition.

I got the nonprofit up and running with a new website running on Squarespace featuring local Creative Commons photography then collaborated with the team on branding, mission statement development and a communications strategy. The organization continues to use the digtial communications and media relations strategy under the leadership of its Communications Committee.
